Fast Realization of Frequency Estimation Algorithm Based on System Generator

The panorama scanning is been needed to UWB receiver system to determine the carrier frequency of signal,and there has a lot of carrier frequency estimation algorithms.In this paper,we chose frequency center method according to its good performance for communication signals.The process to build the algorithm model has been detailed,Frequency measurement and hardware construction by integrated design tool System Generator of Xilinx are also implemented.In the medium signal-to-noise ratio (10 dB) cases,the simulation and hardware test results shown a good accuracy.The design has a Good practicality.
