SAR Imagespeckle Denoising Based on Wavelet Transform and Wiener Filter

  • Noise deteriorates SAR image quality,makes image unclear and sinks some important image features. Denoising has become an essential step in SAR image analysis and improving image quality. At first, wavelet transform and wiener filter are introduced.Then an improved algorithm based on wavelet transform and wiener filter is proposed and is used to denoise.At last,the experimental results have illustrated that the proposed approach can accomplish a better result in SAR image denoising compared with the conventional methods.
